We are here to help you understand everything about CVD diamonds and about us:
Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD), as it sounds, scientist with the help of microwave plasma, deposits carbon atoms layer by layer on the top of diamond seed to grow diamonds in the laboratory.
CVD or Lab grown diamonds is having same chemical and physical composition as mined one. It’s made of carbon. The only difference is lab grown diamonds are created in the lab by creating same environment as of mined diamonds created under the earth mental.
In general, LGD is having less carbon foot print in compare to Mined diamond. In our case, we use carbon from environment that result in positive contribution and reduces CO2 from the environment surrounding to us.
Absolutely not, in terms of brilliance, lustre, shinning and color, CVD diamonds are equal to mined one. In-fact, our diamonds are distinct from another CVD producers. Our diamonds are having same green color hues as seen in most of the mined diamonds.
About SGD
We have in-house developed Microwave plasma reactors to produce high-end CVD diamonds.
We produced 120,000 cts of CVD rough diamonds per year and its grown 100% year on year.
SGD is completely costumer centric company, we produce what customer wants. However, we are able to produce 12mmx12mmx7.5mm monocrystalline CVD in flawless quality.
